The building license comes after the architect plans are stamped by the "College of Architects". This is then followed by the application at your local town hall, for the building license. 


After the works are completed, the architect should sign off the works by issuing a final certificate of works. 


You then have to make a new title deed at the notary showing the extended part of the work. Finally, the title deed has to be taken to a registrar and duly registered at the land registry.


Only the most experienced builders have this capacity. So please be aware of the process.
